The London Taxi Company at its new plant in Coventry is going to explore various innovative transport technologies with ultra-low emissions and also to release the latest version of their famous machines – in the form of electric car. The size of investments will make 300 million pounds. This will be built sustainable building with an area of 37000 square meters, including production area and laboratory center. The annual program of manufacture will make more than 20 000 cars a year.





It is expected that the new building will be "excellent" BREEAM rating and energy performance no lower than "A". There will be 850 square meters of solar panels and 20 electric car charging stations. The building will provide a heat recovery system and rain water will be collected for use in all the toilets of the object.





Interestingly, this will be the first automobile factory built in the UK over the last 15 years. published
