4 basic skills of the person: What we should teach a child
The ability to recognize THEIR needs, to know the conditions in which you ended up and choose the adequate means to achieve the goal teaches Psychology. Or still — Life. But life teaches long and, at times, using the rod.
In schools (and now in kindergarten) are taught too many subjects. And every teacher and psychologist is promoting itself and its method as the "most necessary" for the future happiness of the student. What we do not teach our children and learn ourselves...
However, it would be wise to bring all the chaos of the proposals in a clear and strict system. Why would You not teach your child: math, embroidery on gold brocade, art theft or shoemaking business, the diversity of life experience boils down to mastering Four Basic Skills.
The presence of these four basic skills provides us all the opportunity of life at all.
So read this first and then write the child at karate, sculpture course ravioli or second foreign language. Maybe in the pursuit of diversity and the number You missed something important...

Let's see... the First three points — it is pure psychology. And only the last, the fourth paragraph is somehow connected with the school and the school program.
That is three fourth of what is necessary for the survival of the individual in school, just not taught!
The school is engaged in only one-fourth of what was necessary for survival.
I tried my cat to bring her kittens to lose sight of three quarters of what you need to know the kitten!
And now let's deal with the rest of the quarter. Let me remind you the sound of the fourth basic ability of man:
"The ability to comprehend General principles and objectives".
Yeah, that's what we mean by the word "education". This is leopolitano of brain activity that build skills — to think... Is conquered by humanity in the course of evolution — rationality.
But it's not taught in school?
Analysis, synthesis, generalization, building systems out of chaos, the ability to find analogies, to see patterns...
Once in high school (classical gymnasium education) this really taught. Taught the course "Logic". And yet logic was necessarily integrated into the teaching of any school course. Logic was built into the teaching of botany (classification of material), grammar teaching in mother tongue, mathematics...
Now the school teaches (more or less well) to solve the following problems:
But taught in the school of GENERAL PRINCIPLES and objectives as such?
Even with one quarter of teaching basic life skills the education system can not cope...
And who teaches three-quarters of the necessary human Luggage?
