Any symptom is something you do not want to see, hear or notice.
Message of symptomThere is such a thing as "message of symptom". Where "symptom" we can consider anything. Physical ailments, emotional problems, events, situations, relationships with some people... and really, anything. Especially for econet.ru psychologist and coach Sergey Muchkin shared his vision of how symptoms can reveal the essence of the problem.
And I think that Any symptom is just a pointer..
An indication that a person does not want to see, hear and notice by all means. And by all means, it drives out of consciousness.
You know, like a light bulb on a control panel (maybe a car or a nuclear reactor). Who's trying to report something. Something very important.
And about the reasons for this “repression” – I have also repeatedly written. Because once upon a time, it hurt. Dangerous. Discomfortable.
And since then - it was hidden away, and I do not want to touch it at all. (Actually, this is exactly what I call “trauma.”)
But... our psyche is so arranged that nothing and no one can be displaced. And it will find a way back.
Through a bodily symptom, through other people, through certain events and circumstances—and the feelings, experiences that those events cause.
And, in that sense, "Everything is a symptom."
And it turns out that Any symptom is just a voice.. The voice of some part of our personality that we have rejected and forgotten. . .
The way of this part is to reach out to us, communicate about yourself and your desire to come back.
And "touching the symptom" (if we want it to "go away") is to let that part "speak." Let yourself “hear” what she wants to say.
Unfortunately, at the same time it means touching all the pain that caused this part to be rejected.
It is only then that this part of us, this side of us, having seen and felt that we are being accepted and no longer being rejected, can stop “making known” about ourselves by the symptom.
Because contact with her inside has been restored.
This means not just “turn off the light bulb”, but to figure out, to heal what she pointed out.
I decided to work on one of my symptoms yesterday. Physically.I got it. And to ignore it - no more strength and patience is not enough. Or maybe it's just his time. (Here, too, not everything and not always solved by “willful effort.”) Some processes have to come, they have to mature, in a certain sense. . . )
Well, he did. . .
Although here, before starting - I walked around for 2 hours, but about. The resistance, however... And when he did, .
In my life, there were many not the most pleasant experiences, but “peak”, such as when you think that you can not withstand – only a few.
Only a couple of times in this kind of work. And that was one of those cases.
It was so unbearable and emotionally painful - it's hard to even describe.
At some point – I really felt – a multi-ton block descending on me. Like a press. There's nowhere to go.
For some reason, at that moment, I thought of people who were being squeezed alive like this.
And you're not thinking about the injustice of this ending -- you're going to do pretty much anything -- just to make sure it's over.
If only it was, ALWAYS NEVER OVER!
Fortunately, objectively it did not last so long, 15-20 minutes.
And then, gradually, something happened.
And what manifested itself as a symptom became very close and expensive.
And with that — or, most likely, — just reconnected.
And this is probably one of the most pleasant feelings in the world.
And then the "symptom" was no longer needed. And I was able to leave.
And that connection remains.
I don't know what that was about. There are, of course, hypotheses about the process of childbirth, about the connection with the mother ... but it is hardly important to explain this. Or "understand."
More importantly, it happened. Could have happened.
As for my physical symptoms, let’s see. It's gonna take a while. Not all at once.
It is very important to note that such work does not cancel or replace the necessary medical care in the case of working with physical symptoms or ailments.
