More than 80% of fat leaves the body during exhalation, therefore, the principal body through which the people who lose weight, are light.
In the human body is a type of fat called triglyceride, which consists of three types of atoms – carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.
For removing unwanted fat, you have to separate the atoms in a molecule of triglyceride by oxidation.
Tracing the path of movement of each atom in the human body, a team of scientists from the University of South Wales (Australia) revealed that in the oxidation of 10kg of fat, 8.4 kg of fat out of the body through the lungs in the form of carbon dioxide (CO2). The remaining 1.6 kg becomes water (H2O).
The analysis showed that the inhaled oxygen required for this metabolic process weighs about three times more than weight lost. For complete oxidation of 10 kg human fat need to whotnot 29 kg of oxygen, which leads to the formation of 28 kg of carbon dioxide and 11 kg of water.
The study authors Ruben Mirman and Andrew brown saying: "These biochemical processes are not new, but for unknown reasons, no one in the head had not occurred to make such calculations".
