How not to accumulate tension in shoulder and neck: 7 simple techniques
The lesson from the book of F. Wildman will help you to learn to sit without accumulating tension in the shoulders and neck.
Movements should be done gently, slowly and carefully, as fully as possible focusing on the body. Better to do less than you can do — at first it can be very difficult. Tension in the shoulders and neck is often the result of how we use the lower part of our body.
1. Conveniently sit on a chair, place your hands flat on the table or on the knees, palms down. Close your eyes. Can you feel how the shoulder closer to your ear?
2. Imagine that little spider is on the edge of your right shoulder and throws a spider web to the right earlobe. Feel the length of this thread. Imagine another spider on his left shoulder and, therefore, one more link to your left earlobe.Some of the threads there longer?
3. With eyes closed, raise your right shoulder a few inches toward your ear and thenslowly let it down. Make sure the movement is slow and not complete movement to the end, just for a little bit.

5. Now right shoulder we will move forward and back to neutral. Slowly and smoothly. After a few movements, rest, and then perform the backward motion and in neutral.
Finally, perform the movement backward and forward, passing through the neutral point, observing the distance which passes a shoulder from a neutral point forward and backward.
Some of the distances in the end long — up and down or back and forth? Can you feel what happened to your shoulder as a result of execution of movements compared to the other shoulder, which didn't move?
6. Now make the right shoulder a small circular motion, and watch what part of the circle takes place most smoothly. Unwind, after which repeat rotation, changing its direction to opposite.
Feel the height of your shoulder, the length of the "silk thread" on this side and how relaxed, and at the same time easy, it seems the shoulder compared to others.
7. Repeat motion on the other side of the body.
Make sure you sit comfortably while keeping your back straight.
Also close your eyes to improve your ability to feel movement. The effect of the implementation of the lesson will be great if you'll do the movement slowly, evenly and accurately. Quick, relaxed circular motion will not reduce voltage. published
