Endesa Pavilion is an economical, eco-housing from IAAC
Endesa Pavilion is a unique concept, presented by specialistami from IAAC (Institute for advanced Architecture of Catalonia) within the framework of Smart City Expo in Barcelona (Spain). The project is innovative economy structure, designed to meet the needs of people who cannot afford to purchase expensive luxury housing.
A unique building constructed of the most economical materials, equipped with solar panels and other systems aimed at saving energy resources.
The architecture of the building seeks to protect the interior from direct sunlight, providing natural shading and drawing attention to non-trivial forms.
Within one year, the facility will serve as a benchmark for environmental smart technologies in the modern architecture of residential buildings, as well as a meeting place of experts and students to exchange experience and knowledge.
