Ornamental pond in the Netherlands



Architectural Bureau Hosper introduced ornamental pond in the Netherlands. Originally, the building housed the Seminary, and part of it was reserved for high school. Despite the preserved charm of the building's construction, the surrounding area had received attention, it was in ruins. In 2002, the new owner of the vacant front of the building decided to turn the front of the building to the apartments, while the rear unit still houses the library of the institution.









The apartment complex Voorhuis are 60 residences of various sizes. Each of them has two places in the underground Parking. Directly above him was created an ornamental pond with an area of 730 sq. m. the depth of the pond is 60 inches, and the entrance to the Parking lot divides it into two parts. Colored glass holes emit light that shines from underneath. And special fountains, working with a small interval, creating water movement. Thus, the surface of the pond plays and glows, pond enchants with its beauty. Its design architects paid more attention to, working on landscaping of the adjacent territory.
