Designers from the Japanese company Nendo once again wowed the audience, creating a tree house, which can accommodate people and birds. For breeding birds it is a real shelter, people who fall into this giant birdhouse, you can observe the life of birds in close, without disturbing them.
"Bird apartment" is set in the Japanese city of komoro, to help citizens to get closer to nature. And it should be noted that use of a house, consisting of 78 bird apartments, very popular – people love to see what's going on inside.
The idea of creating such an unusual structure belongs to the leading designer of Nendo Oki Sato, which uses simplified forms, which can cause bright emotions to the audience. Creating a bird house, Oki Sato used the traditional form — a birdhouse with a pitched roof and a round hole which serves as the entrance for the birds. By the way, for human entrance to the bird house looks the same, only the hole is certainly larger diameter. The architect wanted to emphasize that the house is for the birds no less important than homes for people.
In order to fully appreciate the tree house, it is necessary to climb a long ladder and enter the round hole. Once inside, you can peek holes allowing visitors to see the world of birds, located on the other side of the wall. The interior of the bird house is completely white. This is done in order to distract from the birding. Holes in the wall of a great multitude, so you can look at each of the 78 bird homes.
