The most efficient led lamp

Designers are struggling with the problem of creating an led lamp that could produce the same amount of light as usual "bulbs of Ilyich", with a capacity of 75-100 watts. Over the years, 100-watt bulb has become the de facto standard, which are equal to users and manufacturers. Compared to conventional incandescent bulbs LEDs are better in every aspect, economy, and life. However, so far not come up with commercial solutions that would allow to release on the market of lighting devices that can be classics real competition for light flow. In other words, led bulbs as bright as "weaving" while in the market.

The problem is the withdrawal of excess heat. If we calculate specific share, it is immediately obvious that the LEDs are heated less than incandescent bulbs. However, the size of semiconductors is much less heat is concentrated in a limited area, causing the led overheats and fails.





One of the possible solutions is the use of a single structure of several low-power LEDs, the technology of production of which is debugged. Some experts believe this way is wrong, considering that the extra connection reduces the total reliability of the lighting device. However, the creators of the led bulb Nanolight intend to convince the world of the viability of this technology.

Three enthusiasts Jimmy Choo (Gimmy Chu), Tom Rodinger (Tom Rodinger) and Christian Yan (Yan Christian) in student's years worked together on the project of solar car. Three years ago they renewed cooperation to create a bright led bulb. Currently, the company successfully launched its own project on the website Kickstarter. Long before the end the company collected the amount of investment is twice as high as originally planned.

The inventors claim that their led light bulb is the most efficient in the world. With power consumption of only 12 watts, it provides a luminous flux of 1600 lumens, equivalent to a luminous flux incandescent bulbs with 100 watts.

Form Nanolight somewhat reminiscent of conventional glass bulb – bulb. But this is only a tribute to tradition. Inside the body is placed a printed circuit Board, to which is soldered the LEDs.

In addition to 12-watt equivalent 100-watt incandescent bulbs, the company intends to produce led lamps of 10 watts, equivalent to 75-watt traditional bulb, and bulb increased brightness with the flow of more than 1800 lumens. According to preliminary estimates, their life will be 30,000 hours.

Current price 12-watt led bulb Nanolight — $50. Assuming full development of the resource, it will cost seven times cheaper than conventional light bulbs.
