Russian LED lamps Uniel

Uniel LED lamps can be found in many large stores. Until recently, all these lamps were made in China, but the company recently opened a factory for the production of LED lamps in Chernogolovka.

So far, the production of the most popular lamp models has begun in Russia - "pears" with an E27 cap, replacing incandescent lamps of 60, 75 and 100 W. Lamps are available with warm (3000K) and neutral (4000K) light.

On the Uniel website you can watch a video about the production of lamps. Each lamp has the inscription “Made in Russia”.

I tested all six models. The luminous flux of the lamps was measured by the Viso Light Spion instrument, the power consumption of the Robiton PM-2 instrument, the color index, the color temperature and the pulsation of the Uprtek MK350D instrument.

The pulsation of light in all lamps is practically absent (the device showed values of 0.1 - 0.3%).

The color rendering index (CRI, Ra) was 81.6-82.6, which allows you to recommend lamps for use in residential areas.

The package of lamps indicates a voltage range of 175-250 volts. In fact, 10-watt bulbs operate without dimming brightness while reducing voltage to 133 volts, and 8- and 12-watt bulbs to 114 volts. Due to such a wide range of operating voltages, lamps can be used where the voltage in the network is unstable and can be greatly reduced (for example, in rural areas).

The manufacturer claims a lifetime of 30,000 hours and gives a warranty of 3 years.

With switches that have an indicator, the lamps can not work (weakly burn and at the same time flash when such a switch is turned off).

Measured luminous flux of lamps with neutral light 4000K was even higher than claimed by 3-11%. Lamps with warm light 3000K give light by 9-10% less than stated, but this meets the requirements of GOST R 54815-2011, according to which the measured initial luminous flux of an LED lamp should be at least 90% of the nominal luminous flux.

The efficiency of lamps with neutral light 4000K was 91-98 lm / W, lamps with warm light 3000K - 80-89 lm / W, that is, tested LED lamps consume 9-10 times less energy than incandescent lamps, giving the same amount of light.

According to my measurements, a 60W incandescent lamp gives about 650 lm at 230V and about 540 lm at 220V, so Uniel 8W bulbs giving 640/775 lm regardless of voltage will be brighter than a 60W incandescent lamp.

75W incandescent lamps give about 820 lm by 230V and about 700 lm by 220V, so Uniel lamps giving 766/888 lm will also be brighter than 75W incandescent bulbs.

A 95-watt incandescent lamp gives 1,270 lm at 230 V and 1,050 lm at 220 V. We can assume that a 100-watt incandescent lamp will give 1330 / 1100 lm. a 12-watt Uniel lamp with neutral light 4000K gives 1086 lm and it can be considered a full replacement for a 100-watt incandescent lamp. A 12-watt lamp with 3000K warm light gives 953 lm. If the voltage in the mains is reduced, it will shine brighter than a 100-watt incandescent lamp, but if it is at least 220 volts, this lamp will give light, like an 85-watt incandescent lamp.

In the table I gave the prices of the official online store Uniel. On the Internet, these lamps can be found even cheaper, for example, in Onalin Trade 10-watt lamps cost 105.50 rubles, and 12-watt 124.90 rubles when buying a box of 10 pieces. It is very cheap for lamps with such characteristics.

Perhaps Russian Uniel LED lamps are now the best in terms of price / quality.

P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
