The unusual musical group from LEGO Bashny.Net

Italian music producer Giuseppe Akito came up with a brilliant idea: create a miniature LEGO robots that can easily play a few creations from the world of electronic music. The group received the name of Toa Mata Band, and each participant is responsible for different musical instruments.





All robots are assembled from parts of LEGO Bionicle. The Creator just added some rubber inserts and drum sticks to create a bit. The function of robot control is vested in the Board with the microcontroller and the ports of the Arduino Uno, connected to tablet computer with pre-installed iPad app Nord Beat, which plays the role of a sequencer.









Unfortunately, the robots are not endowed with incredible powers and unable to compose music of their own, they just execute the command of the musician in real-time. However it looks quite funny. As they say, better to see once than hear a hundred times:
