Pokrovskaya chapel in the Ukrainian forest from the Studio rdsbrothers
Pokrovskaya chapel is in a small town in Voron'kiv, Kiev region, Ukraine. It was invented by architects Studio rdsbrоthers. The design of the chapel is similar to traditional Ukrainian wooden Church tower.
Surrounded by pine trees, it has a small area of only 10 sq. m. Square at the base of the tower completes the space beneath the dome light in the form of an octagonal star, which is rotated by ten degrees.
In the chapel used two types of led lighting: first like a lighted candle, and the second made in the form of a cross. The entrance is through a glass door, which creates a permanent impression of openness.
