What should be the perfect garage?
Holger Schubert lives in Los Angeles, California, and loves cars. So that has created a perfect garage of 110 sq. m., which was awarded the 2009 Maserati – Architectural Digest "Design Driven".
The main purpose of Holger Schubert in the work on the project was the establishment of restrained minimalist environment in which the car would look like a work of art. The garage is located on the top floor of a private residence overlooking Los Angeles.
A large floor area allowed to turn it into a kind of living room where you can relax in front of the TV on the couch or read favourite books in the library. There's even a small kitchen and a bathroom!
Moreover, Holger Schubert has used green technologies and energy generated by, for example, solar panels on the garage roof, enough to support the whole house. 100% cellulose fiber is used for insulation. As led lighting consumes less energy, achieving significant savings.
