Innovative heating technology in London

The mayor of London Boris Johnson recently announced that soon a residential building in the city will heat excess heat which will be collected from the tunnels of the metro and city electric substation.

As it became known, the transformers at the substation at work produce a lot of heat, which is usually never used. But now I plan to capture this excess heat and the piping to deliver it to the boiler which will continue to distribute heat for heating houses.
This system is very similar to the centralized heat supply of residential buildings, which were sold at the time in some US States and in Sweden. It can be assumed that primarily the heat from the subway tunnels and substations will be put into apartments for poor families.

Moreover, such a system does not just allow residents to drastically reduce their spending on electricity and heat without using additional heating equipment, but also will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
