A businessman from Mexico has developed a new budget system for the collection of electricity
Over the last couple of years, scientists and engineers have developed quite a lot of systems in which the pressure energy from the wheels of cars or pedestrians is converted to electricity. These systems use piezoelectric materials, which have a fairly high price, so the plants on their basis can not use, for example, in developing countries. Trying to solve this problem, the Mexican entrepreneur héctor Ricardo macías hernández has come up with a great alternative.
To create your installation Macias Hernandez used the small ramps, which are made of elastic polymer. He placed the ramps at a distance of 5 cm (2 inches) above the surface of the pavement. When vehicles drive over them, they bend. The air passes through the bellows, which are fastened to the bottom of the ramps, and compressed in a special tank to save.
