And that hope will be fulfilled in such a wonderful city like Donetsk. The leadership of the metallurgical giant has decided to cancel four of Martin's. This, of course, will affect the overall environmental situation in the industrial centre of the Donbass. It should be noted that earlier in 2008 already decommissioning one of the furnaces.



As a result of modernization of the production plant will shift from energy-intensive and cost-intensive open-hearth furnace steel production to EAF environmentally friendly method. Also the new equipment will give the opportunity to refuse the use of natural gas and switch to electric power. In the end, this eco-friendly plant will dramatically reduce polluting atmosphere emissions of metallurgical production. This will lead in turn not only reduce the incidence of city residents, but will create the conditions of green city.
