Shipbuilder built a house in the woods from scrap materials

The wooden kayak Builder Brian Schulz has built a house from the remains of wood, which are assembled in the workshop, and trees felled by strong winds during his kayaking expedition. Cottage construction in Japanese style spent a year and 11 thousand dollars.

The idea of creating the Japanese Forest House Lodge came to Schultz at the time when he found a nice brass shell. Golden, shiny, colorful thing so much loved him that he wanted to build her a house. And till he came to his apartment, this idea is fully developed.

The building is a combination of everyone's favorite author traits: small forms, natural materials and fascination of traditional Japanese architecture.

This cozy home if urged to leave city bustle and plunge into a totally different world. Where the overt charm of natural finishes and traditional materials blends with the noise of the forest and soothing thoughts and feelings. It is a wonderful place for creative people.
