Passive house — myth or reality?
Germany is one of the countries-leaders in the development of the theory and practice of the construction of passive houses — buildings with zero or very low heating costs.
The passive house Institute located in Darmstadt, has a complex method of design of such houses, which across the country is actively building entire towns that conform to the standard "passive house".
In Darmstadt (Germany) from 12 to 18 June will take the participants of the international educational program design
and construction of energy efficient buildings.
The programme participants will get the unique chance to visit implemented or under construction passive buildings, in detail to consider their design features, to study the properties and features of functioning of engineering networks and design rules for such structures.
Special classes at the passive house Institute will provide an opportunity to immerse themselves in the design procedure, to understand the calculations and to get acquainted with special software.
The participants will visit the construction site built building and meet the architects of passive houses.
The program is held in conjunction with the passive house Institute.
