MARS and SNICKERS will build the wind farms for 37 factories USA





While the Ukrainian chocolate tycoon Poroshenko is fighting for the presidential chair, Western Industrialists are concerned about the sustainable development of their plants. Industrial food giant, maker of chocolate bars MARS, has announced a "green" roadmap for strategic development of a successful business.

An ambitious plan chocolate tycoon is to provide clean electricity to 37 factories and 70 offices in the United States. This is just one of many steps in the "greening" of the chocolate business. The Corporation's plans for the period 2007-2015 is to reduce the use of fossil energy sources by 25%, greenhouse gas emissions by 25%, water consumption by 25%, the production of debris should be reduced to zero.

A longer plan, painted to 2040, involves a complete withdrawal from fossil energy, zero emissions. At the reduction of water use, the strategists of the company have not yet decided.

As for a wind farm of 200 MW, it will consist of 118 GE wind turbines with a capacity of 1.7 MW each. Start of construction is scheduled for late 2014.
