In new York preparing to abandon paper tickets for the trains

Two lines of urban and suburban rail transport in new York- Metro-North and Long Island Railroad will become pioneers in the introduction of new environmental programs, city authorities, suggesting a gradual transition from paper tickets to electronic travel documents.



The leadership of the transport Department of new York said that the program, called the Metropolitan Transit Authority, is being implemented in cooperation with renowned developer of software for mobile devices – company Masabi.
