Tesla Motors announced record volume production of electric cars

The company Tesla Motors unveiled a report on the work in the first quarter of 2014 and made a forecast for the second quarter of the year.

In the second quarter, Tesla Motors is planning to supply customers with 7,500 cars in production volume in 8500-9000 pieces. Overall, as expected, this year customers will be shipped more than 35,000 electric cars.

Commenting on the quarterly results, Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk announced that in June will be named the place for the construction of the first large plant for the production of Gigafactory batteries.
