Preparation for sleep—how to sleep

Two hours before bedtime you need to start preparing for it.
1. Ayurveda recommends to take a shower later than two hours before bedtime – this weakens the energetic shell and excites the nervous system, especially if the cold shower. If you need to take a shower, it should be warm.
2. It is advisable to not eat anything the food eaten at this time, still not digest and will go into the slag and increase fat deposits. Very well at this time to drink a little warm honeyed milk – it calms the nervous system and strengthens the intellect.
The first rule for those who want to have a big belly – eat after 18:00! If Your food is in ignorance-passion (e.g., white bread or meat), then within a few weeks, as you begin to please others round, a rapidly growing belly. Besides sleep, you will want more and more. If you are very hungry, allowed to eat some steamed vegetables, nuts, bananas.





3. Not to watch and not to read anything exciting. It is better to read something spiritual, but not very philosophical, to meditate, to pray. Everything we do or hear before going to sleep, enters the subconscious, therefore, it is desirable at this time to count the money, because it reinforces greed. If you someone borrow money, then be prepared that they are never coming back to you, and this person will become your enemy.
The room where you sleep should be clean and ventilated. Be very careful in the selection of different patterns and even books that are in the bedroom – all that is in them and on them are imprinted in your mind and enter the subconscious mind during sleep. It is desirable that the books were in Sattva, very good, if near the head are the Scriptures. Paintings, better with a beautiful, serene nature. TV if you have one, should be in the next room, or better yet – next door.
4. Sleep in Sattva – then go to 22, up to a maximum of 23 hours. Sleep from about 21 to midnight – the most useful, only this time the nervous system is resting, and long-term memory is not working.
Everything in nature sleeps this time, only modern tematichno-regasify the person is awake...
Please note – the theory about the owls and larks have appeared recently, earlier all have them. Scientists in Canada, a country where most people have sleep disorders or suffer from insomnia say that all of these sleep problems came when people began to stay up late (after 23:00).
