Attractive people get sick less



A new study shows that attractive people are much less susceptible to various diseases, including asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes.





The obtained results are based on studies of more than 15 thousand men and women aged 24 to 35 years. This is the largest study that found a link between physical attractiveness and good health. Researchers from the University of Cincinnati believe that external attractiveness may be a marker of good genes that indicate good health and increase the likelihood of healthy offspring.

The attractiveness rating was based on evaluation of each person after a 90-minute session. Men and women attributed to one of five categories: very unattractive, unattractive, average, attractive or very attractive.
