USA invests in bioenergy Iran
According to him, the U.S. company plans to build a plant in the South-West of Iran and use its own technology to produce electricity by burning garbage and recycling algae, salts and sewage. In this project, the company plans to invest $1.175 bn
The company will create 600 to 700 jobs. Moreover, up to 80% of the staff will be hired from among local residents.
It is expected that the project will be launched in September 2014, and the signing of the contract is a symptom of great interest for Western business to invest in Iran on the eve of the lifting of the economic sanction against Iran.
