August 28, 1925 in the family of an art historian and teacher of Russian language and literature in Batumi was born Arkady Strugatsky. A little later he was born and his brother Boris, with whom later he will win the hearts of readers around the world.

He subsequently graduated from the Military Institute of foreign languages, where he trained as an interpreter from Japanese and English.

Only in 1955, he managed to move to Moscow, where he worked in the Institute for scientific information, editor at Goslitizdat and Detgiz. And in 1956 published his first art publication "Bikini Ashes" (while in collaboration with Lev Petrov, written in the years of service in the army. She was devoted to the tragic events surrounding the explosion of a hydrogen bomb at Bikini Atoll, however, according to the Strugatsky, is not particularly valuable.



Write Arkady began in the war years, but these works were lost. However, in 2001, published the story "killed Kang", written back 46. In addition, under the name S.
