Inside the owls three levels, connected by ladders and several round beds constructed in the form of nests. The building itself is built on a pier with a deck and overlooks wetlands.
Supervisor and other homes used for camping, summer trips and tourists visiting Bordeaux. In fact, they are the visible part of a wider project. The idea is to promote urban Hiking as a local open tour in the fresh air, which is available to anyone, including the free nights in lodges. Each house size of 160 square meters has a unique shape and can accommodate up to 9 people.
As in other European houses for the night, there's no electricity, no water access, only beds and a common space. The purpose of Bruit du Frigo is the study of environmental quality in the broadest sense: not just its architecture, housing, ecology or landscape, but its perception as a cultural experience.
