Siming Qiu, a design student at London’s Royal College of Art, has created a revolutionary new crane that not only looks luxurious, but also saves water by turning a jet of water into an elegantly twisted spiral. The secret of the design is that the flow of water, passing between the double turbine, splits into jets, which then twist into elegant spirals, creating a complex and beautiful water lattice at the output.
At the same time, the turbine limits the flow of water by 15%, so using such a crane will mean saving resources and costs. Three different types of nozzles will allow users to choose which water saving mode they prefer.
