Navel shock
In general obstetric practice, the umbilical cord is cut off immediately after the baby is born, but ideally, the umbilical cord should be left intact until it stops pulsating, which occurs within five or more minutes after birth.
Only when the umbilical cord stops pulsating is it no longer needed. The baby can begin breathing on its own without shock or fear. If the umbilical cord is cut too early, it can cause injury that often persists in the tissues around the newborn's navel.
This is one of the problems with the secondary flash, the second major stage of the flare-up process, in which the Breath of Life potency animates the child’s system as soon as he takes a breath in the new world. The expression of this flash of life can be muted or slowed down due to umbilical shock.
An illustration of this is my personal experience of umbilical shock. During the cranio-sacral treatment, the doctor felt the place of fixation in the area of my navel. When she came into contact with this area, I experienced a strange sensation of being punched in the stomach and even moaning. This feeling remained with me while the operator traced the pattern of equilibrium in my tissues. After a few pulsations and sharp twitches in my stomach, everything seemed to calm down, and I felt drowsy.
At that point, the doctor was shaking my head while I rested and then fell asleep. I found it extremely pleasing because that was not what happened when I was born. I woke up feeling perfectly healthy, more alert and very calm. published
