Australia. Horse-drawn tram

Do You believed that the trams that are pulled by a horse, was left behind? In Australia there is a city of Victor Harbor. So: there are still tram-tram, which is very popular.





The Australian city is famous not only unusual tram. Then there is granite island. On the mainland it connects the Causeway bridge with a length of 630 metres. Here goes the horse-drawn tram. The island is not less popular among tourists: there are a huge number of representatives of small penguins. This species is the smallest among penguins.





In one car of the tram — tram can accommodate up to fifty passengers. The first horse-drawn tram appeared in the area in 1894. Every year moved about 150 thousand people – passengers in the tram – tram.published
