Barley with mushrooms — simple and delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups barley
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 700 g of mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- salt, pepper
Step 2 Boil 4 cups of water, add a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp oil and steamed barley. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Discard the barley in a colander.
Step 3 Mushrooms wash and cut into quarters. Boil in small amount of boiling salted water 6 min. with a slotted Spoon to shift the mushrooms from the pan onto a cutting Board. Mushroom broth to drain.
Step 4 Onions clean, chop and fry in hot oil, 4 minutes Add the mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes to Shift the onions and mushrooms to the pan.
Step 5Добавить barley, stir and immediately remove from heat.Step 6 Mushroom broth bring to a boil, add soy sauce, stir and pour in the pearl barley with mushrooms, cover and simmer on low heat for 1 h. This can be done in the oven. published
