In Japan, an abandoned Golf course converted into plantations of solar panels. In the 1980s, when the Golf arrived at the peak of popularity, it was built a huge number of sites. Now they are interested in is 40% smaller, many fields are abandoned and overgrown.

The first project is 23 MW is under construction, it will be finished in 2017. It will produce energy sufficient to 8100 households.published
