So what is a healthy weight?
Western experts answer what is a healthy weight based on body mass index (BMI), and waist dimensions. There are numerous ways to calculate BMI, however, this indicator does not always reflect the real situation. For example, people with large muscle mass may have a high BMI but still have excellent health. Therefore, the assessment should take into account many other factors such as age, gender, physiological Constitution, bone density, ratio of muscle and adipose tissue, as well as health in General.

A healthy weight is weight, naturally deposited in our body when we consistently follow the correct (and nutritious) diet and maintain physical activity with regular exercise. People that are characterized by thinness, but do not support an active lifestyle and having a nutritious diet, are healthy only because they have low weight.

Half an hour before meals eat a small piece of fresh ginger with a pinch of black (Indian) salt and a few drops of lemon. This will help to increase the power of digestion. But beware: if your body is prone to internal or external inflammation, then this recipe is not suitable for you.

In the morning on an empty stomach drink warm tea ginger+lemon+honey (remember that honey should be added at the end, when the tea has cooled to average temperature of – 40). This drink reduces weight and removes toxins.

In the first and second dishes, use spices such as: turmeric, cumin and coriander. These spices are natural antioxidants; they cleanse the blood and help get rid of toxins. In sweet dishes, add cinnamon and cardamom, this will not only give a magical taste and flavor of food and increase the ability to digest it.

In addition to changing diet start practicing simple exercises for example yoga 30-40 minutes a day before meals. One of the most recommended exercises are Surya Namaskar and pranayama. Both of these exercises together help to strengthen tone the body, improve circulation, fix your posture, strengthen your cardiovascular system, to create a good mood.

To get rid of psychological addictions (binge eating, emotional hunger) will help meditation. Regular practice of correct meditation will cleanse the mind of old habits and programs, balance the nervous system, helps easier to overcome stressful situations.

Remember that the accumulation of extra pounds occurs more often in seasons with cool, rainy weather. So in the autumn and winter should especially avoid heavy and sweet food in the diet.

Add the diet of cereals, contributing to weight loss: barley grits, buckwheat, millet, kinoa. Those grits, cooked with water, do not increase Kapha dosha, so it can safely be used wishing to reduce weight.

If you saved the attachment to sweet foods, try replacing it with dried fruits (apricots, raisins, prunes). Don't forget that Ayurveda recommends eating heavy and sweet foods only during the period 11:00 to 16:00 as at other times, it is readily converted into toxins.published
