Honda released its own car running on hydrogen fuel cells

In September last year came the news about the new project, Honda automobile hydrogen fuel cells. It was also reported that the cruising range of the car from Honda will be more than the Mirai from Toyota. Now, the company has provided is not a concept but a commercial version of the car, which is called Clarity. The price of the novelty can not be called low — $67000 is still a solid amount.

In the first year will be sold 200 vehicles, but they will not sell in showrooms and will submit as part of the leasing governmental organizations. Some Clarity will come in the commercial companies, which, however, is not yet known.

After some time the hydrogen cars will go on sale in California at a price of $60,000 and will be provided leasing for $500 a month.

In Japan, the lease would cost $880 a month, and the full cost of a car here — $67000, as mentioned above. State "green" benefits, you may reduce this amount.

Of harmful emissions from a car running on hydrogen fuel cells does not, the output is just water. Honda is one of the first (if not the first) company, created a commercial version of the hydrogen fuel cells. They were the first certified by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board in 2002.

Fully loaded "tank" sedan (form factor it is five-seater sedan) can drive without refueling 750 kilometers. Company in the course of work on the project could reduce fuel cell while increasing the number of seats to 5.

According to the head of the company, by 2030, 2/3 of the production Honda will be cars with zero emissions (electric cars, fuel cell vehicles, hybrids).

I recall that the first to sell hydrogen-powered auto start, Toyota, Toyota released the Mirai. Now there is a car on fuel cells and the Volkswagen AG, Hyundai Motor Co., General Motors Co. and Mazda Motor Corp. published
