100-year-old theater turned into a book, which is steeper than any museum

In the distant and beautiful Buenos Aires has a bookstore, which has no analogues in the world, - El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It was built in the theater, which is almost 100 years old (Grand Splendid Theater opened in 1919). Now the store accepts about 1 million people each year.

Delightful theater was rebuilt in the bookstore architect Fernando Munson (Fernando Manzone), which has preserved many original elements of the interior, including the stage, balcony, stunning architectural details and even the red curtain.

Revision Website struck by the amazing interior of the shop and its unique atmosphere. This place is hard not to fall in love with the book once and for all.
