Benefit from the house, punched boulder

April 25, 1995 Fountain City House, Wisconsin, USA, was knocked a huge boulder weighing 55 tons, rolled off the hill. Spouses Maxine Anderson and Dwight were not injured, but the resulting shock forced them to sell what was left of their homes as soon as possible, and move.

The new property owner - investor John Burt - did not take a ruined house practically nothing. He simply called the object "Boulders in the house» ( «Rock in the House») and began to take the tourists for 2 bucks for the opportunity to see what's inside. In the first six months, the house was visited by 12 000 people, and the flow has not dried up yet.

Interestingly, in the spring of 1901 at the other house, which stood on the same place, also rolled cobbles. Then it ended tragically - killed a woman, while her husband, who was lying with her in bed, miraculously survived
