Commune with futuristic buildings of garbage
Released from architecture school in 1972, Michael Reynolds began to analyze everything what he had learned a few years and tried to rethink the acquired knowledge. He asked a very important question of how well we are building the house.
Why erect buildings using wood, if we are to save the forest? Why pay for electricity, water and heating, if all that we can get through the existing materials and renewable resources such as wind, rain and solar energy?
So there was a commune «Earthships» in Taos, New Mexico. All the houses are made of waste that does not prevent them look futuristic. In addition, it can stay for the night anyone.
