In 2006, the Russian advertising market continued its rapid growth, said First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
"It has grown by almost a third (compared with the previous year) and amounted to about 176 billion rubles. This figure is impressive, "- said Medvedev.

Medvedev believes that it is important to find a reasonable balance between its sphere of advertising customers and media users.

"Advertising is in its infancy, so to continue the search for a reasonable balance between the interests of business, advertising revenue stability and the interests of the citizens - this is our common goal" - the first vice-premier.

He said that relevant instructions were given to the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Rospechat.
