Idiotville (Idiotville) is located 50 miles from Portland, Oregon. In the 70-ies of the last century, most of its residents work in the lumber camp called "Camp Ryan." This place has been located so far, that the inhabitants of neighboring villages liked to say: "Only an idiot would work there." Idiotville name stuck, and in 1977, the year it was officially added to the list of geographical names United States.
