Snake wine
Snake wine (rượu rắn in Vietnamese) is an alcoholic drink, which is a feature of a poisonous snake in the bottle. The wine was first made in Vietnam. Today, this drink can be found in other countries in Southeast Asia. Snake as the main ingredient of this wine are usually valued not for their meat, but because of the snake venom, dissolved in alcohol. Nevertheless, snake venom denatured ethanol, and, therefore, safe for health.
