Dolls-up American girls - project Ilona Schwarz

When I came to America from Poland, I was struck by such a huge number of girls, whose dolls were almost full copy of their owner. There is not a fashion Barbie was believed my compatriots. Every girl has in the arsenal of toys "daughter", which is its full copy. Sometimes it's a coincidence, just a rich selection allows you to find the right doll and make her dress, but more often simply buy dolls on order from private manufacturers.

It's probably something national, some special things. Maybe because the girls are trying to understand themselves, to understand the world through play with the doll. Or maybe try to meet peers. All his twin doll, and she should be. It's hard to say what caused, but I will say exactly we in Poland there is no such.
