Hamburg champion

Miniatur Wunderland (amazing land in miniature) in Hamburg is the largest model railway in the world. It was built twin brothers Gerrit and Frederick Brown, the Goliath has impressive size, 68, 889 square meters of living space and 39,370 feet of railroad tracks. The size is impressive, of course, but really makes this model special is the extreme degree of detail and meticulous approach to the brothers each exhibit.

For example, look at the smoke coming from the building, to the brave firefighters in the eternal attempt to extinguish the fire or to exhibit a man in the park hiding behind a bush to relieve themselves. You can see a close-up of a fantastic model in the gallery below. Attention to detail is simply amazing.
