Many legendary guitarists created their unforgettable hits by using Fender Stratocaster - guitar, born in the small town of Fullerton, California, 60 years ago. However, this is not a relic, because Stratocaster is still produced and used by the best guitarists in the world. Vince Gill relies on the guitar as if it were "an extension of his hand," and a blues virtuoso Robert Cray calls it perpetuating his workhorse. How to make this legendary instrument? Associated Press photographer Matt York visited the Fender factory in Corona, California, to record the whole process on camera.
