Ukrainian security officials suspended the anti-terrorist operation in Slavyansk due to accumulation of Russian troops at the border.
Reported Kyiv Post with reference to its source among the security forces.
According to the Ukrainian Intelligence, the risk of intrusion of Russian forces has grown considerably, the source said, quoted by the publication.
At the same time, according to him, the number of deaths during the operation increased to seven.
He also noted that the Government is reviewing the plan for the ATO, taking into account the latest exploration data from the eastern borders.
As previously reported, Russia has announced the start of military exercises on the border with Ukraine. Russian Defense Minister said that Russia was "forced to respond" to the events in Eastern Ukraine.
