Mystery terracotta army. Why would the emperor made 8,000 copies of clay?

One of the biggest attractions of China is the Great Wall of China, but in addition to it in China, there is somehow less known, but nonetheless amazing terracotta army. This army includes 8099 statues Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and it is only those that have been found. The Terracotta Army was discovered in 1974 near the tomb of Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang. This building is truly impressive in its scope and can compete with the wonder of the world as the Egyptian pyramids. Researchers believe that this army of clay soldiers needed the emperor to satisfy their ambitions of power in the afterlife.

Construction of the entire necropolis took 38 years, it involved more than 700 thousand workers and craftsmen.

Later, the statue was found and acrobats, musicians, officials, as well as two bronze chariots. The chariots were found 20 meters from the tomb of the emperor, they consist of more than 300 parts and decorated with precious metals.
