Snapshot Boulevard du Temple in Paris was made in 1838 by Louis Daguerre, the French chemist and inventor, one of the creators of photography. Due to technical process daguerreotype - namely, huge by today's standards of aging in 15-30 minutes, all the moving objects in the image is not fixed. However, below and to the left in the photo seen a man who was able to stand without moving the necessary time - it seems to clean shoes.
