Our scars
There was once a very irascible and short-tempered young man. Then one day his father gave him a bag of nails and punished every time he does not keep his anger to drive a nail into the fence post.
On the first day in a pillar of a few dozen nails. On the other week, he learned to control his anger, and every day the number of nails hammered into a pillar began to decrease. The young man realized that it is easier to control his temper than to drive nails.
Finally the day came when he never lost his composure. He told this to his father and he said that this time every day when his son will be able to restrain himself, he can pull out one nail for the post.
As time passed, the day came when he was able to tell his father that in the column, not a single nail. Then the father took his son by the hand and summed up to the fence:
- You did a fine job, but you can see how many holes in the column? He will never be the same again. When the person says something evil, it remains the same scar, like those holes. And no matter how many times after that you apologize - the scar remains.
