We present you a selection of photographs from the archives of the American Life magazine about the everyday life of the American modeling agency. These pictures are made in the late forties of the last century - long before the business model has become a thorny path for those who seek wealth and power in the decades before the modern era of supermodels. In those years, the American model was a rather nebulous situation - and not mannequins, and not quite the actress ... Their work was primarily in the sale of clothing and not meant international fame.
