Our younger brothers - centenarians
Anyone who has a cat, a dog or a fish, understand that these animals will live much less than their owner.
It turns out that there are animals - centenarians, which is not that a person could survive, but some of them are experiencing even civilization.
It sounds a bit fantastic, but really, it is.
By the way, this article will not be a question of Raven or elephants - there are animals who live longer.
Red sea urchin
This type of animals found only in the Pacific Ocean, mostly on the west coast of North America. They live at depths of up to 90 meters, and avoid very much troubled areas with a strong wave formation. Basically, they live in one place, being attached to the ocean floor and filtering their food from the water. So they sit centuries ... Several famous individuals have lived for over 200 years. And who knows how much they still survive.
Turtles
Generally considered the most long-lived turtles organisms on Earth. The example is the turtle Harriet, Galapagos tortoise, who died of heart failure in June 2006. Almost all her life she spent in the zoo. So, this turtle has brought to Europe by Charles Darwin during the voyage on the ship the Beagle.
