September 13 from Tsarskoye Selo launched a unique international rally from St. Petersburg - Kiev. It was attended by journalists, artists and entertainers. As a navigator in one of the teams appears and special correspondent site Strana.ru

Courageous motorists repeat the historic race on the prize of Emperor Nicholas II, which was organized by the Imperial Russian automobile company in the summer of 1910. A hundred years ago the pioneers of motor sports from 16 to 29 June (old style) passed along the route St. Petersburg - Kiev - Moscow - St. Petersburg. In that memorable run was attended by 48 cars of different brands, including: Russo-Baltic, Benz, Opel, Mercedes, Gaggenau, Austin, Delaunay-Belleville, Dixie, Adler, Fiat, Lorelei. The winner of the race on the prize of Emperor Nicholas II then became Willy Pehe. He surfs the Russian Empire Germans on their "own" Mercedes.

One of the important events of 1910 was the Automobile Exhibition. It was held from 15 to 29 May 1910 (old style) in the St. Petersburg Mikhailovsky Manege. The exhibition was a huge success.

The French competition called "La Coupe du Tzar", and the Germans - "Kaiser-Nikolaus-Fahrt". The participants of this rally will have six days to get from St. Petersburg to Kiev through Veliky Novgorod, Tver, Kaluga, Bryansk and Chernigov.
