The mayor of the town of San Teodoro in Canada, Denis Lariviere made perhaps the most original gift to the former spouse.
He brought her home to a 20-ton piece of rock.
- I did it for her to finally leave me alone, - explained Lariviere.
"Surprise" was taken to the house of Isabelle Prevost middle of the night. In the morning she found on the site for parking boulder with the inscription "Happy Birthday." The upper part of the "gift" was crowned with a red bow.
Surprisingly, Prevost did not appreciate the ingenuity of her ex-husband, and complained to the police. Law enforcement is now investigating the circumstances of this ridiculous scene. And, most likely, the mayor will have to answer for their originality and disturbing public order.
By the way, the reason that made Lariviere give his wife a stone simple. When Denis and Isabelle were still married lady constantly pestered Mayor requirement rings with large stones - in the 18-20 carat. But after the divorce Lariviere decided to surpass all expectations of the couple.
